That always ends like that, unfortunately - either the spontaneous uprising breaks down into vicious factional infighting or someone sees an opportunity to move in because the uprising isn't well enough organized to defend itself. Usually both.

Germany (and 'the West') are effectively propping it up (echoes of Horthy), and the Russians are set to police it. I hear tell EU has a commitment to democracy though.

"So, here’s to the next insurrection of the workers in Hungary."

Nothing to lose there, might as well.
